Tay and Meg came to town!!:)

We love our sweet friends and always cherish our time together. Usually happens about twice a year. Not near enough but so thankful for those moments. We always pack in our weekends with so much fun, coffee,  food, relaxation, and long talks.
This trip was no different.

We cherished this time even more because we know life is about to get extra busy for them!  They will be welcoming a sweet baby boy to ther family in just a few months. Oh we already love Mr. Colton and can't wait to see him!!:)
We ate lunch together on my lunch break!! Such a fun time!!
Breakfast before heading to the houseboat for a few days. So yum!!!
Man is this place relaxing!  We had so much fun just chilling and relaxing and eating. Ahhhh!:)
Oh just me and my man!:)
Look at that sweet belly!:)
Childhood buds. Nothing has changes. These boys love The Lord, their ladies, and their Hogs!!:)

They got to meet sweet Kaylie and we just had a blast together!!

Thanks for making the trip!

Weekend sleepover

Let the good times roll when these two girls get together! They remind me so much of friendships I had as a child that I still cherish to this day. The memories made with friends will last a lifetime and I am so thankful for the relationship Alyssa and Maddie have together.

They are sweet and caring. They love The Lord and were even baptized on the same day. They have been together since birth and have always had a special bond. They have never lived in the same town and pretty much only see each other at church, but The Lord formed a bond with these two and he has protected that relationship. They are truly best friends.

They had a whole weekend together and made the most of it!!

Thanks Chrissy for letting us have your girl! She's a doll and always welcome in our home!!:)

Mugs N Muffins. Jesus. Kelly Stamps. Food. Fellowship.

Last Saturday we had the very wonderful Kelly Stamps as our guest speaker for Mugs-N-Muffins. She has such a sweet spirit about her. She is example of godliness and a true woman of God. She shared her testimony and spoke on how The Lord has been teaching her so many things lately! I'm so thankful for the way The Lord uses other women to minister and challenge me as a mom, a friend and most importantly in my walk with Him.

We had a great time and I know so many ladies were blessed by Your testimony and teaching! Thank you Kelly!!:). You were truly blessing!!

A little QT with my man.

Matt and I decided to hit up a new trail this past week. It is fairly new to our area and we have been hearing such great things about it so we checked it out for ourselves!!
It was so much fun. We decided to run the train instead of walk. Matt's training for a hunt he and his dad got drawn for in Arizona and I just enjoy running and a new challenge of any sort!! This was challenging but mostly just a blast.
Our creator is simply amazing. We were in awe of the beauty of this trail and the beauty of all creation. I often think I have to go off to a quiet place to experience The Lord but he always makes himself known if I am willing to just listen. Through the rustling of the leaves below our feet. Through the sound of heavy breathing as we ran (and there was lots of that going on). Through the waterfalls and streams Raging water. In the stillness of our heart. He is there.

Life is crazy busy...but my response can't be to run faster. It must be listen. To seek Him. In the midst of chaos He's never forgotten me. Thankful.

Come close to God, and He will come close to you....James 4:8
