BUT, we had a blast! It was the greatest weekend ever! We felt like we were the only ones in Branson. It was dead! Our favorite time of the year to go! Most things are closed till February or March so we pretty much had the place to ourselves! We ate some great food. ok, lots of great food! :) We started the day on Saturday with a little Krispy Kreme donut stop! So yummy. We then made our way to the mall where we shopped till we dropped...dropped our keys and could not find them. Yep! We did that! Matt had the keys and somehow when it was time to leave we could not find them anywhere. We emptied out all our bags and looked several different times. Retraced where we had been and found nothing. So we made the dreaded call to the locksmith. 150.00 later we had a new key! As we were waiting on the locksmith to make the ignition key we were sitting in the back of the tahoe going through the bags again looking at all our purchases and in my lap lay the keys! I'm still convinced God just placed them in my lap because we had already searched the bags 4 times between the 2 of us!! So, we got our keys, paid Mr. nice man who wasted his time and our money, and headed to cantina laredo! Oh it never seems to disappoint!! It was sooo yummy. We grabbed some maggie moos ice cream and headed to our room! We watched a couple football games and walked down to the sweet shoppe at the Chateau and I got some carrot cake and a latte. Matt ordered room service and we munched the night away! Ended the night at the hot tub and looking at house plans (our favorite).
We got up Sunday morning and ate breakfast at Bob Evan's. I must say that was a mighty tasty breakfast! It was weird not being in church on Sunday morning, but it was a refreshing time for Matt and I!
Thanks babe! You are the greatest and this was the best birthday ever!! I. LOVE. YOU!!!
